Can't take the 'hot-aching' fingers any longer.
I keep wondering about other gloves like the Fox Antifreeze (though my m8 says his Specialized ones aren't that good) but I currently use these buggers:

Can only use them in really cold conditions, as they make my hands sweat.
They're not Sealskinz latest offering but over the last few winters these always keep my hands (far) to warm, they are a little bulky but work fine.
.
They do stink though, when you dry them out on radiators - had to explain to my g/f it my gloves not my boots!
I've been using Endura Deluge gloves all winter, and once I removed the stupid padding from the palm they were a lot more comfortable. A good compromise between warmth, waterproofing and control.
FOX Antifreeze are my choice currently. The options of running both liner and outer first thing till you get warmed up and then remove liner for rest of day.
Good feel even with both on- my best gloves so far.
I've been using some North Face gloves made from Gore WindStopper and they're great. Not waterproof but I find my waterproof/[supposedly]breathable ones make my hands sweat. Most important thing for me at the moment is keeping the wind off. Even if they get wet they warm up again.
They had some heated gloves in our Maplins:) But I use Altura 'Pilot' waterproof, which have 3 layers - as above I'd never where them in warm (even wet) weather as they would get too warm
I used these yesterday for the first time across salisbury plain and it was v. cold:

very happy with them, had slightly cold thumbs at one point but wouldn't have wanted a warmer glove as was toasty for the rest of the time.
I've been riding with my Dakine snow boarding gloves, ideal.
Specialized Radiants keep my hands toasty warm in these conditions. Hands are always the first thing to go with me and impossible to warm up afterwards. 🙁
The Radiants are very good, hard wearing too unlike most other winter gloves I've tried.
My Sealskinz Technical waterproof gloves have been very useful for the last few rides.
Bit bulky, but you get used to that - and too hot over about 1 or 2 degrees - but very comfortable when it gets any colder than that.
I'm using some cheap DHB gloves. Very toasty.
I'm using Icebreaker glove liners inside Gore windstopper gloves. Not too bulky but keep my hands warm.
I got sucked into the sealskinz hype - they are over rated IMO
The liners are not fixed and are abugger to get your fingers back into, especially on the trail

I thought it was quite warm, only hovering around zero. I had on a base layer and an Andura light softshell jacket, although I confess to wearing leggings and hiking socks. How Ed Oxley's lad rides in shorts in sub-zero weather I don't know!
I've got some Endura windproof winter gloves and don't find them terribly impressive thermally. If it get cooler I'm going to wear my woollen mitts over thin cycling gloves.
why oh why are lobster gloves not more widely available...
best design allround
Err...one finger braking?!
If you can find the thick woolly Tesco gloves, give them a go. Only £5 a pair. I now use them in all cold conditions except when it's actually raining. Warm when wet.
I bought the Sealskinz ones - they're Ok but do make your hands sweat. I always suffer cold hands at the start of a ride (after doing up boots etc) but once I've shaken the warmth into my hands they stay warm.
You do need to be careful taking them off and as mine are slightly large they're ok going back on.
Becasue of this issue with previous gloves I had considered Gore Softshell / Windstopper with a liner as they're a single layer. Would probably need an outer waterproof shell in a torrential downpour but I've never used them so not gospel.
If its raining I always pack a spare pair of gloves just in case.
