Hello!
Wanting to swap out my now dead Monarch with a coil. I've seen people recommend the Rockshox Vivid R2C but wasn't sure if there is anything else around that people would recommend!?
Thanks!

Only used air on ours, both Ohlins or Rockshox. Everyone I know who has swapped to coil have gone the Ohlins route.

Ohlins TtX

I've got one for sale actually. Brand new.

But it's fitted to a Specialized Enduro Elite 😄 so you need to buy that too.

I ran a Vivid R2C coil shock on my 2017 enduro and it was a big improvement

EXT Storia V3. Pricey, but it comes with 2 SLS springs, can be reconfigured if you change bike, and so good!

Cane Creek Double barrel coil on my enduro.
4 damping circuits, which means more control for tuning my considerable bulk.

Been on my 2016 Enduro for long enough to have hammered it. It's been reliable and very plush.

.... i also have the Ohlins on my Stumpy, which is great too. Not quite as adjustable, but great for the shorter travel bike.

I found either the Ohlins STX Air or the TTX22 Coil both improvements over the Rockshox. Went Ohlins Air first and then Coil, both better then the Rockshox, couldnt say if air better then the coil. I know lots had issues with the airs but I had none and ran it for 6months.
