Hello, has anyone put a coil shock on a Whyte s-150?

If so, which shock & why that one? And how does it compare to stock RS deluxe?

I nearly bought one of these so did a bit or research - it’s a 210x55 shock. Cane creek db inline will fit and gets good reviews..

Yup, bought one too - couldn’t resist at that price & ordered Vault spring to go with.

Yeah, I got a spring too. Can't wait to try my first coil! Missus had an Ohlins coil on her Juliana and that thing was a beast 🙂

I’ve had plenty of coils over the years and have a very nice PUSH tuned Dhx5 sat in a drawer doing nowt. Too long for the frame unfortunately.

I genuinely can’t abide RockShox air shocks and have never had one that feels right to me; at 98kg kitted I think I’m at the upper limit of their capability. With the the exception of a Bos Kirk I just prefer coil.
