[#9843468]

Right, I’ve got a new coil shock for my transition scout but the reservoir hits the down tube, there’s probably 5mm too much movement.

it’s a 2018 fox vanilla performance 190 x 51 shock and I’ve got a cane creek 450 x 50mm stroke coil on it.

Does anyone know if I fit a longer stroke spring on it (maybe 63 or less) will that make any difference? Or maybe if i get the fox spring will that make any difference?

If if none of those work them I’ll have to sell the shock.

Rhe cane creek spring seems to be quite short on the shock body in the pic, is this normal?

nothing you can do other than turn it round and see if it works that way.  is it a small frame by any chance?

Do Transition say you can fit a piggy back shock to that size of that model?

All you can do is try the shock the other way around. Looks like you’re screwed though

Keep toying with the idea of a coil on my Patrol, sorry it doesn’t help but I’m glad it doesn’t fit mine!

Good luck.

Just as an aside, I've recently bought a second hand cc inline coil for my smuggler. Both came creek and transition were really helpful, they replied to emails and.phone calls straight away and gave me lkads of guidance. So what I'm saying is don't be concerned about getting help from them for next time!

Got a in-line coil on my suppressor cause of the piggy back issue.

Wonder if this would fit a Large Scout?

OP, what is your frame size?
