Think I heard the owners of the house half way round The Beast that had turned it into a cafe, were trying to sell up. Does anyone know if it's still open?
Sold and bought. Still open and pretty good!
Went round a couple of months back and it was in full swing, cracking cake!

It is up for sale - saw it on rightmove a few weeks back. Would be alright to live there if you didn't have to stay in all day feeding bikers!

I was chatting to the new owner 2 weeks ago as he was giving me a coffee and cake.
closed last friday.
Re-open with new - and very nice (cycling) owners. Cracking cake, chat, tea, garden.. I could spend an entire day there, probably... 🙂
very nice cycle friendly owners with two ****ing enourmous dogs! went in there on saturday for drinks. it was like an oasis in the dessert
It was closed Friday 5th July was so looking forward to cake....
