Planning a Xmas break on the bike and I've been trying to find a decent cabin/cottage near Coed Y Brenin. The searches trawl up all sorts in Wales and nailing one down to a place within a couple of miles of the trails is proving difficult.

Has anyone here stayed around there and could recommend a place maybe?

Stayed here last here, nice and cosy and has an outdoor hot tub which was nice as was snowing when I went there. Located around 15 mins from coed y Brenin. Not many pubs or restaurants within walking distance tho if I remember correctly.

Trawsfyndd log cabins are good if there is a group of you.

Also Tyn-Y-Groes hotel does B&B and good food.
