I'll be there on the 17th/18th and will be looking for somewhere to sleep for the night. Any recommendations? Close proximity to a pub would be nice.

Cae Gyn Farm is good as well but a bit of a trek from the pub.

After having a look about i think it'll be best if we just stick to the YHA, only £10 pp.

We normally stay here:

http://www.trawsfynydd.com/index.php?loc=33

when we go to CyB....

It's decent quality & cheap - decent sized kitchen with drying room too. I think it's £19/night pp.

There is a B&B/Pub down the road, which is quite, erm, 'local' although saying that, once you get in there and chatting to everyone they are a really friendly bunch.
There's also a couple of small shops round the corner, one of which has a free withdrawal cash point at the back.

The hostel has a caged bike lock-up.
The hostel is beginning to look a little tired, compared to when we started going there, but it's good value and comfortable.
