Off in a week and need some bike friendly accommodation, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Tyn y Groes for me, but I doubt you'll get in on a Bank Holiday weekend.

Cae Gwyn is v good, as mentioned above.

We use [url= http://www.guesthousessnowdonia.com/ ]THIS[/url] place by the Little Chef at Dolgellau. We always camp, but they are a very nice B&B also. They have a bike wash & secure lock-up. Never stayed B&B, they did us a cracking breakfast once for a couple of pounds though. A work colleague stayed B&B & reckoned it was one of the best he'd stayed at. Its about 15 mins from CyB, & also about 25mins from the MachX.

Cadair View Lodge. Stayed there a few times.
3 miles from the trail centre. You can ride to the trails.

Thanks for the referral Hugor.
Yes, you can ride onto the back of the CyB trails from us. We supply laminated trail information so you know how to get into CyB "by the back way". And a big plus... we have a pub that serves food 5 minutes walk away!
