Anyone here done it ? I fancy doing it next year, just looking for people's experiences, recommendations, what kit to take, what kind of bike is best suited, etc. I'd be riding with a friend, staying in B&Bs, and we'd have a support vehicle to carry our stuff.

Which coast to coast?
There's the English Whiehaven to Sunderland/Tynemouth, and derivatives
There's the English off-road StBees to Robin Hood's Bay
There's a couple of Scottish off road ones
There's a Welsh one too
