Who uses then on a regular basis?

Do you use a pure CO2 cartridge inflator and carry a separate pump or use one of the ones that has both cartridge and pump functions.

Any recommendations?

I normally use a pump but I carry a couple of CO2 carts just in cae I'm in a hurry of the weather's really foul. Worked a treat when we were racing the lift in Morzine!

Allways carry one.. I got mine from tyreinflators.co.uk

it takes 16g cartridges and they too are cheap as chips from said site..

i think i use a inovations ultraflate

it takes screw and non screw carts, but i use screw ins and dont bother using the plastic casing.

it has a trigger so you can put in as much as you want, it also has a lock so you can say use half the cart and then top up at a later time without wasting the other half.

i like it, i dont take a pump these days as co2 is reliable, IF YOU REMEMBER TO TAKE IT WITH YOU.

always take at least 2 carts, on epics take maybe 4 and a backup pump

use truflo one for racing

its good but ill be investing in an SKS airchamp pro just because i keep screwing in CO2 cans in the middle of races with the dial turned to "on" and having my nose frozen with Co2 .....

sks is a slot it in turn it in push it on and squeeze the trigger to inflate !
