Brand new just fitted shifts silky smooth new shifter also, switch the clutch on need a thumb like Thor is this normal.

can be, depends how much tension has been wound on in the clutch

Mine is sweet, fitted a couple of weeks ago and bar a slightly slower shift all is good!

Mine is 18months old and it too requires some force with the clutch on especialy in higher gears. I can't remember if it was always like that or if it's got worse.

My direct mounted XTR is super snappy, amazing.
