Its been a good few years since I spent time in Nortons wood. Its never been strictly legal, but I understood there was a change of ownership a couple of years ago and they were a bit more anti access in general.

Whats the current state of play? I'll be passing through along the quarry top singletrack and returning via 'Jims trail' after going further afield.

I'm amused that trail still has my name attached after 4 or 5 years, cracking bit of singletrack isn't it ๐Ÿ™‚

The thursday nighters still go through Nortons every week as far as I know

I was just wondering if that trail had anything to do with you!

I started riding with the thursday nighters just after you departed to more southerly climes, then fell out of the habit due to work and never really picked it up again, preferring to head to the Mendips. Its about time I showed my face again really, but they start so early I have trouble getting there in time.

Yes, you'll have to give us a shout when you're up that way.
When are you off to the Alps? I'm off there for 2 weeks on Friday.

What? You've had life changing, over-the-bars accidents in Somerset as well ๐Ÿ˜‰
