About to buy new grips and noticed On One do some in "Clear". What are they like?

Will be on chrome bars with Hope gunmetal plugs.

They'll be like other grips but more transparent I'd have thought.

I figure. But wondered if anyone had any and do they look cool or just weird.

I had some in the 90's. So you could see where it said 'go fast' on my Club Roost bars.

They feel the same as normal grips.

If you put them on transparent bars it could get a bit freaky. ๐Ÿ˜€

I bought some cheap Superstar clear grips but the paint rubbed off and turned my hands invisible.

I used some "clear" grips in my BMX days. They were a pile of poop.

Grips should be black. End of.

They get dirty and discolour quickly. Although my experience with them dates from about 1996...

I had these (in anodised blue, obviously),

With these,

Now you've got me wondering about a similar setup.

You don't, I remember bending a couple of pairs back in the day as the brace formed a nice fulcrum point

So I should get a spare set as well, then. ๐Ÿ˜‰
