Forum menu
and nice little icons to show bike/chat :o)
k?
now that is good
(while we're on, is it possible to change "freshness" to time of posting or something? (freshness only really works immediately after you refresh the page))
I found the bike bits for sale distracting
The forum layout is now the best it's ever been IMO.
(well, except for smileys)
I'm with scardypants, It'd be nice to b able to organize by time of original postings. New stuff disapears so fast.
oooh, no Daffy !
I want time of last post, not original post
oh yeah, and more threads per page too please !
๐
And the moon on a stick please!!!
Question is though, sfb, is this thread really bike related?

well, bike forum related ๐ I had the same thought, after I'd clicked 'send'. More bike related that the endless "Bible bashers" one!

That's what it does now you muppet! Freshness of 30 seconds means that the last post was 30 seconds ago.
๐
OK, you're right. How about just a "next page" buton on the mixed forum page then ? (I'd still prefer more per page though)And the moon on a stick please!!!

I think the very first post on that one was bike-related. Vaguely. ๐

No, it's how long the last post was made before you last refreshed the page (or does your browser magically add to all these freshness entries in real time ?). That makes it meaningless unless you know when your browser last refreshed, unlike a real "time of last post", even though you still need to refresh.
:patonthehead:
I'd second the request for a 'more' or 'next page' button on the mixed forum posts on the front page.

not exactly meaningless, the relative ranking is correct, apart from posts made since last refresh
simon, that relative ranking would be correct whether or not freshness was shown at all
so not literally meaningless but dependent upon a variable that is unknown to me and it's not as informative as stating the times
