[#4997736]

looking for a cheap mech disc for my daughters bike as I've just changed the forks and the new ones don't have v mounts.
Need mech as it will match the rear V better, and I won't have to change the integrated shifter / brake lever.

the clarks CMD-8 looks good, anyone used these??

thanks
chris

Yep, i found they worked really well on my wifes MTB. Good enough for me to do endos and skids, so capable of locking the wheels and good value for money i thought.I also fitted a disc mount to convert the rear to disc.

These Hayes ones are good and very cheap at the moment on CRC

I had a set on a jump bike i built up for a brief period and they were far, far better than i expected. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
