Can't wait - just hope it's nice and warm as the start village is around 1000m if I remember correctly

It's not nailed on that the sun will shine at Easter. This is early April a few years ago. In fourteen trips to Ciclo this was my only week in the snow. Happy days.

have a look at Switchbacks same area and they share some trails but you get to ride downhill more,
hmmm, think this varies a lot.
Great trails that aren't a massive techfest but still great fun and plenty of rocks.
I kinda thought the same when I went out to the area (been with switchbacks and ciclo) but I guess it's just the nature of the beast, mixed ability groups (and on a week holiday anyone can have an off day and ride well below par), having some of your guests spending half the descents pushing isn't going to go down too well I guess. Having said that, while we didn't do extreme canal towpath we did do it's little brother and that scared the crap out of me, get the screaming heebiejeebies on stuff like that (narrow[ish] with a drop on one/both sides).
