Looking to order a tyre, I understand the difference is the compound but is one better than the other? How do i decide which one to go for?
My extreme is a great tyre. The centre strip is the same as enduro so no wear issues there.
Had the Extreme on the front for almost 6 mths now and it's a great tyre. Big volume, decent grip, great wear rate, confidence inspiring in corners, but (there's always a but) it's not great in soft mud. Yeah it'll get you through Ok but it wanders and drifts a bit.
The front is all about grip, so the softer compound, Which I think is the extreme.
For another opinion I have the enduro and haven't found it wanting as far as sticky side knobs goes, but then haven't tried the extreme!

I ran the Extreme on the front - really good tyre, only fault I found was maybe the side knobs were a bit too low for when really pushing it, but overall, a damn good tyre!

I run a extreme chunky on the front and enduro smorgasbord on the rear.
Great tires at great prices! I recommend them to every one!
I ordered an Enduro version but they sent me a Trail extreem, so they must be better...
