Been thinking about getting a xmas hamper (not hampster) and celebrate the end of the year with sheer indulgence.
Looked at Selfridges, F&M, etc but nothing seems vfm or even close. Is it better to make your own hampers?
Heard that waitrose xmas pudding was well regarded - but dont normally buy from here. Any thoughts?
Easy but not VFM. Pop to waitrose or some other fancy shop and buy some nice posh stuff. Nicely packaged but use the Hamper shops for ideas.
We usually get a Waitrose one after Christmas in the sale massive reduction and top notch nosh!
Does anyone know where to get any empty hamper basket, or even just a regular "open top" basket thingy?
great - will look at the waitrose ones and see if i can do that cheaply!
its in brighouse, they do wine and cheese, ale's and spirits, some cheapish hampers, some not so much!
Try your local farmshop or deli. Mine do great hampers, or summer event picnic baskets
Farm Foods & Iceland do some nice ones.
We get farm shop hampers for parents and grand parents but lucky to have a good one near by with stuff you cant get back where they live
