I tried to swap an Ultegra 10 speed cassette from a 10 speed Dura Ace hub to a Chris King classic hub. Tightening up the lockring, the cassette is pulled against the spokes.

Comparing the two freehub bodies it looks as if the Dura Ace hub spaces the cassette further from the spokes. Is there a standard spacer I can put between the cassette and the freehub to space this out without damaging the hub?

Yes. 10 speed cassettes need a spacer. Most are just a thin sliver of metal, though the spacer on my (Shimano compatible) Kysrium is thicker.

Quick trip to the LBS ought to do the trick.
