i have asked before about hopes adapter for fitting a 1 & 1/8th steer in a hope tapered headset, to much success.
now does any one know the model i need to do it with a chris king headset?

Same as the one for Hope headsets, Think it's a HS123 off the top of my head, but don't quote me on that.
i thought they do a specific chris king that doesnt add any extra height?
Sorry, thought you wanted a Hope part, King do a Devolution 1.5" to 1 1/8" crown race, rrp of £15.
thanks for that, but when i look that part up it comes up with a whole headset.
getting a carbon frame with a headset fitted allready but it fits a tapered steer where as i would like to fit a straight steer tube 1 1/8th directly into the tapered bottom cup using a reducer or what ever you would call it like the one hope do for theres.

It's doubly confusing because CK don't even call it a Crown Race, they call it a Baseplate
