How much post needs to be in the frame?? I have no drop on mine at all.

Enough to be below the top tube as a start?

The small one next to me is running a standard seatpost with about 190mm of post in the frame at bottom position, i'd probably say 130mm is probably about as low as i'd take it, which is below the top tube join by about 20mm.

My 2010 in XL came with a sticker from Giant saying it needs a minimum of 80mm inserted into frame.

Yeah my trance says 80mm and the seatpost says 70mm, I think I chopped it so I have about 100 to be safe
