So I want a bit of a jack of all trades, it has to have eyelets for a rack and ideally not be disc specific. Any good recommendations out there?
Croix de fer is an obvious choice but as I say... non disc specific will really bring the cost of the build down as I have parts sorted for it.
Also is the Cotic X really as bad as the reviews say? Anyone got one?

If you don't want discs then you need to consider a Surly Cross Check, they only ever seem to get good reviews.
