Hi guys currently building a cove stiffer fr and wondered if anybody no what type of derailleur the frame should use. The bottle bolts look quite close to were i would have thought the mounts. Spoke to chain reaction they say use a conventional.
Mate of mine says conventional are used more for full sus bikes??

I'm running 10speed triple

Don't know. But from what you describe I would say 'top swing' is what you are after. This has the fixing clamp lower down. That's what I have on my cube to avoid it's bottle bolts.

If you zoom in on the pic of the bike HERE it looks like a conventional bottom swing mech.

Yep that pic looks like a bottom swing. Dunno where the bottle bolts would go though if that's the case. Fine if your not gonna use them anyway.
