Hi

Any recommendations for getting from Chinley Station back into Hope Valley?

I was planning on riding Chinley Churn, Ollersett into Mount Famine, Rushup edge and then into Cavedale and back home over stanage or houndkirk.

Anything worth diverting for/should avoid? I'm not at all familiar with the Chinley area.

Thanks

Sounds okay. Roych or Jacob's out of Hayfield?

Mountain bike or road bike?

On a MTB, you could go up around Chinley Churn, which goves you several similar options towards Highgate Lane and then to Roych Clough, or you could head East and go through the Wash and up through Rough Clough that way it's straighter and makes a nice change as it's rarely ridden.

Cheers, I'll try that next time having done the ride today...with no front brake from Roych clough onwards. Including cavedale which was kind of fun.
