Anyone tried buying from or using these frames:- http://www.xmcarbonspeed.com/index.asp

Just wondered what the quality was like and any issues/workarounds with VAT/import tax?

Cheers

My experience with Chinese imports, duty and VAT is that sometimes you get charged, others not - my last consignment wasn't. Theoretically, you'll get charged Duty of about 8% and then VAT of 20% of the consignment / declared value costs (costs of goods + shipping). Some sellers will put a low declared value on the consignment - the downside is that if it gets trashed / lost then the insurer will only pay out for the declared value.
