Over there tonight and the Forestry Commission have ploughed through my favourite trail just outside the DJ fence. Also the other end of the woods the Red route completely cut off. Been riding them for years but no longer.

Use the outer areas to keep fit.

When I move house later this week Chicksands will be one of my closest riding spots and I've always liked the XC loop round the woods.

I was there last week, the bike park area is improving each time I go and dispite the lack of woodwork, it really is brilliant. New swoopy bermy jumpy track on the RH side of the 4x.
There are trails in the woods outside the bike park though. Ive seen them as I drove past, not ridden them but its worth a look.
