[Closed] Check your helmet!!

About a month ago whilst waiting to go on a ride I happened to notice by Giro Zen helmet had some stress fractures though some of the ventilation bridges. On further inspection I noticed that there was a lot of give and cracks hidden away. Off I then went yo buy a new helmet. Fast forward to today and I am lying on bed with a broken collar bone and cuts and grazes all over my body. Massive stack at Cwm Carn yesterday, not quite sure what happened but new helmet is in pieces. I dread to think what would have happened if I was wearing my old helmet.

So please check your lid really closely for cracks as I know I was pretty surprised to find damage as I hadn't had any stacks. The doctor looking at my helmet said I was pretty lucky.
