[#4480499]

Just got back from a weekend on this. Hoping for a longer term loan.

Component shots only as the action shots are on someone else's phone at the moment.

It is a wheel chair, tweaked for use off road.

It will be fine up Lordawood after the earlier devastation. I am almost tempted to try it on the embankment. I managed to get it up on two wheels round a few corners and there was a bit of spray at the swamp crossings but brilliant bit of kit.

BOMA - check out MoltenRock.co.uk

Good fun and I hope to be able to borrow one while me ankle heals/foot is amputated but £10,000!!!!!

Awesome, have you looked at drift trikes. They look wicked.

Drift -trikes - I have checked them out now and they look great. I will probably wait until my foot reconnects with my ankle first though as I will struggle to get skate shoes to fit my instep right now.

I'm liking the one piece brake / axle mount. That's interesting that is.

The single lever does both front discs. Hydraulic too, unlike the hand brake on the rear which is cable disc.

How happy am I to be back out in the woods and being able to move independently
[img] [/img]

So nice to have a walk with the wife through the beautiful Avon Tyrrell grounds and use the permanent bike trails rathe than pre-designate hard surface paths
[img] [/img]

Of course, it wouldn't be sensible to try to do the Gravity Track while in the chair would it? Clearly not, so here are the pictures.

Man thanks to the team at Avon Tyrrell for making this weekend possible for me. After three weeks stuck indoors I think t saved what is left of my sanity

I reckon the off camber angle at the start of the gravity track berm is similar to the rocky descent on the embankment...

I was talking to one of the trailbuilders at fort william... Partway down the world cup track, there's a weird bit of boardwalk that cuts out one of the corners, really not a nice line to ride though so I never really understood it. Apparently that corner was the only part of the entire course that the mountain-wheelchair things can't do.

Which, in case there's any doubt, is both incredibly awesome, and absolutely absurd.
