The rotor i am using is for want of a better word dead. i could use it quite well to slice up vegetables in a blender! it is that thin!

Caliper is old XTR, the first? gen silver ones.

was thinking of KCNC, Ashima etc.

Any recommendations or warnings.

It will be a 160 on an XC bike for old school XC.

Happy with my ashimas but they don't seem to work well with all brakes- I got a lot of noise and pulsing with my old XT brakes, very little with my Formulas, I assume just from the shape of the pads.
