Hi all - first post on here.. looking for some new forks, cheapish, 100mm ish - currently a toss up between toras or marzocchi xc500 - anyone any experience of either? For general trail stuff on a hardtail plus the odd bit of mild downwards daftness..

don't buy any 2008/2009 TST 2 marzocchis, they are rubbish.

Toras with motioncontrol damping (think the 318 model) are very good forks for the cash.

There's some recon 351 coils on CRC for about 220 quid at the moment, and reba sls for 225 quid if that throws in some other options? Both would be a better deal than the tora 318s at retail.
