[Closed] cheapest/best way to single front ring my bike?

cureently run a slx 9 speed triple on the front of my Bfe and am thiking of single ring at the front as i dont thik ive used my inner ring yet!!

whats the best/cheapest way to do it then ??

the frame has 3 holes round the bottom bracket to mount a chain guide on?

take the other rings off, shorten the chain accordingly, remove the front mech

and remove granny ring (think of the weight save ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

bash and granny bash from bbg.
diy bionicon type guide.
about 20quid.

mrp/e13 about 120quid

might look into an unramped chainring.can skip if using the stock chring.

May as well get an unramped dh style ring, a bit heavier but ,more secure and last longer ( igot an fsa one cheap of crc)

the bb mounted one is better than the seat tube one, but both work fine, good idea to loctite all the bolts though
