I had some Crossmax xl off ebay recently £30 for a front and £100 odd for a pair. All in good nick. Easy to work on, the only problem is spokes. I have some Crossmax xl's From 2005 that still run perfectly- I had to buy some St spokes and file them to fit when I finally broke a spoke last year.

Just be careful buying crossmax's. If the spoke nipples are seized and you need to true the wheel then your wheel will be scrap. Also check the disk bolt tabs as these can crack.
I had some and they were great until I broke a spoke. It ending up costing me about £170 for a new rim and spokes. A few weeks after fixing them I discovered that 3 or 4 of the disk brake tabs had cracked.
I binned them and will never buy any wheels with proprietary parts again.
