i need a few replacement bottom brackets, mountain of course, cheap and cheerfull, wheres the cheapest at the moment? thanks.

Rosebikes had the cheapest a few weeks ago. £18 for an XTR iirc.

Yup rosebikes I just got a saint for around 17 quid.

Rose bikes XTR for me, but they sell the cheaper deore/SLX versions too for a couple of £'s cheaper, just be aware there a £5 P&P charge when you look (included in the £18ish price mentioned above),

Rose were stupidly cheap when I got my last lot... You've got to get a few items to make it worthwhile but that's not hard to do.

Or buy the £10 Tiagra road one on CRC - exactly the same cups/seals/bearings as the LX BB - and swap over the plastic sleeve and spacers.

Easy 😀
