I'm in need of a new group, minus the brakes. Is there anywhere cheaper than actionsports.de? I'm after SLX/XT.

Thanks

Got our last lot, XT, from bike discount but the Pound was doing better against the Euro then

Tried Merlin, but silver xt is out of stock.

Any idea how often these guys get groupset stock?

bike-components.de are 299 for SLX, 399 for XT (excl. brakes/hubs)

That's Euro, plus ten postage.

I would like brakes also I think. Unless someone can recommend some nice brakes at a good price?

Merlin get stock often, they include brakes, but price it up after selling on the brakes, I recon they get close to the Germans, if not cheaper, and are worth supporting.
Their service is ace.

Noticed that je James have slx groupset for sale for 400 incl brakes - http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/shimano/mtb-groupsets-bcp1/fr399/to400.html

You could sell the brakes easily enough I would have thought?
