pedals???
sick to death of my candy c's which replaced some m520's...cant get used to them, find them impossible to clip into.....going back to trusty shimano and treating myself.....
so if theres any price checkers out there that can see them at a bargain price please 🙂 was hoping merlin were doing a 10% off jobby this weekend on everything but it seems not 🙁

How long have you been using the Candies though? I found the same at first when I changed from M520s to Candy Cs. After a few rides I got used to them and now find them just as easy to clip into as SPDs and actually easier to get out.

ive been using them regularly since before xmas i think or there abouts, trying to give them a fair go... i do find them easy to get out if not easier than shimanos i must admit, but getting in is awful for me, i find it near impossible when going up a rocky path climb to clip in if its directly after a rocky descent, which then means wasting lots of energy trying to clip back in and not concentrating on the climb 🙁 never ever ever had a problem with 520's so im expecting the xtr's would be flawless 🙂
I have XTR's on one bike, XT's on another and 540's on my trusty winter bike, honestly can't tell the difference, I think 540's are a fair step up from 520's so I think that's a premium worth paying, but I wouldn't go any higher with hindsight.
