I need to space out my octalink BB by a few mm to allow me to use a road triple on my cannondale. Charlie the bike monger doesn't seem to stock them, and the places I have found want upwards of a tenner for them. This feels like a lot for a couple of big washers.
Anyone got a link to a cheaper supplier or know of a suitable cheaper substitute?

A WTD in the classifieds should get you some HT2 BB spacers (2.5mm ea) for the price of postage I expect, if you ask nicely.

Can't space octalink, you need to buy a new BB. The axel length is fixed unlike HT2. You can get spacers from velosolo.

LBS, we've got a load in the spares drawer that we give away.

I'm already at maximum axle length and the inner ring *just* rubs so I want tospace the whole unit slightly to the right. I can afford a bit of clearence on the non drive side. That should be ok shouldn't it??

It'll be fine, the ds cup has a shoulder on it and is fixed, the nds cup has no shoulder and will just need to screw into the BB shell a little more.
