cheapest Ive seen is £430 at freeflowbikes

http://www.freeflowbikes.com/cane-creek-double-barrel-shock.html?___store=default

not the sort of thing that gets discounted much, used ones seem to go for >£300.

quite chuffed to get a new Alpine 160 (£1400) with CCDB upgrade (+£400) for £1050, sadly they have sold out now.

Yeah saw that French offer but decided against 16", which was what they had in stock.

I saw you were looking at selling/swapping CCDB some time ago - did you do this or change your mind? I'd be very interested if it was a 215mm length.

mildred, i did initially advertise it for swap+cash to help fund the frame purchase but having to sell the joplin I had in the old frame covered the difference. Glad I kept it!

I saw that one at 'troweltrades' from the states - they seem to advertise this permanently, and looks cheap until after doing the sums; it works out at £366 + £30 shipping + import duty at 6% (or 11% depending on which way the wind is blowing) + 20% VAT, which brings it up to about £500.
