as per one of my earlier post been thinking of getting a fat bike to use with child seat(some of the time) and one of the things putting me off is the cost of tyres so where (if) can they be had cheaper(cheapest so far is charlie) and how good/badly do they wear this bikes likely to be used on sustrans trails,offroad bridleways and on back roads.

Apart from sh I don't think there are any cheap options.

On One are supposed to be bringing in some fat bike tyres (soon).

Vee Rubber 4" devist8r are cheap fat rubber. Great in big rocks as well. bit heavy (about 1800g) but tip top really

ive got a hardly used Larry tyre

replaced with husker du's
