Can anyone recommend some cheap waterproof offroad trousers. do not need to be cycling specific. thinking 30 pounds mark or cheaper. need to be tough. no leggings.

+1 said it many times before - you should be able to get mtp goretex ones with a full length zip for £20-30. Excellent quality....
I bought a matching lightweight jacket as well...but the urge to dig holes in the woods becomes almost overwhelming sometimes! 😀

Aldi do them every now and then, about £15 I think, and have velcro in the calves to slim then down away from the chain.

eBay Goretex surplus are cheap enough to get them properly tailored to fit if you want. (Thanks Mum!)
