"Light. Strong. Cheap, pick two"?

I'm picking Cheap and Strong
🙂

Looking for 680mm+ wide (700mm would be nice)
Plenty of rise, 50mm at least.
Oversize clamp.

To slap on front of t'Pitch with the 40mm Hussefelt stem I've just accuired, to chuck down an Alp or three.....

Recommendations?

Nice try thanks chaps, but I don't call £60 for the Eastons or £46 for the Reverse cheap by an means. Stoner is closest so far.....

You're not going to get a lot cheaper than those truvativs.

Running a Holzfeller Bar and Stem that I got from Merlin for a bonkers package price of £30 - not sure if they're still doing it but the bar is surprisingly light for it's strength...

In fact Stoner linked to the one I have - so Merlin pretty much gave me the stem free then - nice!

Sunline V3?

I got my 50mm rise ones off eBay for 20 quid. ATC have 'em for 25, OS is only 685mm though.

Some decent deals here:

A nice (?) white one at 15 quid. Not sure if there is enough rise for you on any of these ones tho.

Kore BFD bars. 710mm wide, plenty tough, 325 grams... £22 off crc. Though tbh I'd spend another £20 and save 100 grams or so.

Just bolt a bit of scaffold tube to yer bike.

You might want to reinforce it with concrete inside, mind, just to be on the safe side... 😉

Stoner, thanks but nowhere near wide enough!

Thanks I'll have a look at those.
But you're talking to someone who smashes frames and components with monotonous regularity, and I'll be spending 5 days throwing myself down various Alps for the first time, and dragged back up on a chairlift. Sod the weight, I'll put my standard Spesh bars back on when I get home.
🙂
