fancy a larger frame for "general" duties. Ie work, the woods and something that wont be too harsh once a year at a trail centre ๐Ÿ™‚

There is the ubiquitous inbred of course but what other options?

I quite fancy a Rock Lobster Team Tig as they seem to go SH for not too much

Or how about a new Sunn Travis for 100 quid new from CRC?

Or a GT?

I've owned a couple of Inbreds. For me they are spot on.

I built up a GT Avalanche a few years ago. Even with decent kit, Maxle Revs, Pro2's, XT drivetrain, Hope X2 brakes, it still rode like poorly.

+1 for the Inbred unless you want to race (it's not light). Seemed a bit comfier than the Scandal I also used to ride and they are cheap as chips second hand.
