Destroyed my hand and much of my winter bike in a crash recently, but one small consolation is that I've managed to source a new frame to replace the damaged one. So the next 4 weeks can be spent building it up.

Was running 10 speed tiagra with trp brakes, however thinking of going for hydros given I need a new set of shifters as the old pair were decimated in the crash. Issue is the frame is post mount, and all deals on hydro brakes appear to be for flat mount.

Anyone seem any deals about?

Not seen any deals but you can use Shimano MTB calipers I think.

You can get flat to
post adapters.

You can get adapters to mount a post mount caliper on a flat mount frame. But its a bit trickier if you want to go the other way around.

Looks like you can now get a flat mount to post mount adapter here. But not cheap with international postage etc. https://www.assolutions.ca/product-category/adapters/

EDIT which I now see is completely irrelevant to you 😎

Giant Conduct cable/hydro system is probably the cheapest way to do road disks. They work just about as well as full hydro for a fraction of the price, and the parts most likely to suffer crash damage (shifters/levers) are cheap. Just not very cool.

Can someone point me in the direction of the offers that are on for flat mount road brakes please ?

Thanks.

One flaw with the conduct system plan is that there are two versions conduct and conduct SL. The later is the newer but pretty much only comes up for sale with flat mount calipers. You can buy the postmount calipers but that increases the cost.

I use 105 hydro shifters and SLX brake calipers and they work well, I had the same issue with flat mount and this was the best and most budget friendly option.
