Whatever happened to cheap rigid 29ers? There used to be a couple available.

I mean an off the peg rideable bike for sub £300, no suspension, no need for gears (or at least nothing fancy), Aluminium frame, cheap basic kit.

I recall the Diamondback 'Mojito' a few years ago, pinnacle did a couple of simpler 29ers not so long ago didn't they, and I am sure there were a couple of others...

is there anything like that still available?

Dunno, the old 'Mojito' had discs, googling it that was about seven years ago...

That wiggle effort lacks even mounts, I didn't even know wiggle had their own bike brand now.

I'm sure previous model Pinnacle Ramin 1s have been discounted to as little as ~£350 (IIRC).

Surely if the whole world is going 'boosty/plus' mad there should be some boring 29er bargains about...
