[#9957789]

A couple years ago I bought a Parkwood frame from the on one website for about £50, built it up and it was a real fun bike.

I want to do the same again but I need to find another budget frame to have some fun with, looks like the Parkwood no longer exists, can anyone suggest another hidden gem low cost MTB frame

CRC have a brand x hardtail frame that is often on offer. I picked one up last year for under £100 and built it up with a 120mm fork and been very happy with it.

I loved my Dirty Jo F-Creme, shouldn't have sold it.

bike-discount.de sells "old model year Cube frames".

LTD Pro 27.5 hardtail frames for 99 Euros. But most sizes are gone already.

Winter sale was great. Bought a Stereo 150 HPA 27.5+ frame size 20 inch for 399 Euros at bike-discount.de. Fork and damper in this crazy Fox winter sale from bike-components.de  Stuff was waiting since winter for assembly. Since last Sunday I'am now on the trails with my (fairly) low cost 150/150 bike...Ha. Fun.

Great hardtail frame: Dartmoor Hornet. Remember that several places had those for around 200 Euros. But not sure if prices went up now as well.

As above, bike discount. De is worth keeping an eye on.

Bought a brand new 26er 2014 cube analog frame for about €90, and built it (palmed it off onto my Lbs) into quite a nice hard tail.

bike-discount.de sells “old model year Cube frames”.

SInglespeeders should look at the Cube Hyde frame for a neat hybrid/gravel bike. It has an EBB.

I'm pretty sure you can get a 2" tyre in there. (I have done this on my daughter's Hooper which is a similar frame).

Ideally want to put 120-130mm forks on it so don't know if those cube ones will be any good

Dartmoor Primal? Bit more spendy at £200 and maybe a bit beefier than you're after (130-160mm fork), but they look like they could build up to something fun.

Pipedream have one of these left...

http://www.pipedreamcycles.com/shop/muchuu-650b-hardtail/

Only 18" but maybe worth a call to see how large the 18 is (£140.00 bargain)
