Hi, I need tubes for the road commuter, I'll be running 700x32 Conti City Contacts. Definitely prefer durability over lightness. Don't want to spend much money! I've been bitten in the past with 'false economy' of buying the cheapest Nutrak tubes that are rubbish.

So, how about these Airwave tubes from CRC at £2.99?

Or might I be better buying "proper" inner tubes like these Conti Cross 28s, relatively expensive at £5.99 each but probably a much better bet?

Hmm. al.

I've always used Specialized or Schwalbe inner tubes which are usually cheaper than Conti and work well. Also there are bulk deals out there e.g. Tredz or Spa Cycles.

I did find my Lenzyne mini-pump unscrewed the core of Schwalbe tubes though when you were taking it off.
