So, my Saracen Levarg flat bar isn't selling..
toying with the idea of single speed drop bar...
it has tektro (mineral oil) flat mount brakes already.. i figured some cheap shimano levers would sort it out... no such thing as cheap (£200 for tiagra or 105 on ebay)
any other mineral oil levers available cheap? if not.. recommendations on a budget cable set?

TRP Hylex are less expensive than most if that helps, no shifters so ideal for SS.
Had mine 18months and love them

be much cheaper to get new brake levers for cable brakes and new calipers I bet. Even cheaper if you can find in Ebay. TRP Spyre, Avid BB7 are the normal cable disk recommendations

hylex don't appear to be on the cheap side either
looks like a full mechanical setup is the cheapest way forwards

Or buy a giant conduct master cylinder from eBay and connect it up to your current calipers and some mechanical shifters.

The giant system uses tektro calipers normally anyway. I did this but used Shimano calipers.
