Try Ride.io / SDH - they regularly have postings in their forums offering rooms available in chalets when some riders can't make it (injury, etc)

To be honest putting a call out on the forums to tag onto another group is easy enough.

We did the Mega a few years ago with a group from Pistonheads.

Check out the recent 'Morzine' thread to see how many people are going there over the next few weeks.

What about Alpine Elements? They look pretty good.

I hope it's early September as the lifts close on the 9th 😐

Hence why I was just looking at revising my dates slightly.

The time off was originally booked to go on a non-cycling road-trip around Europe with mates, but it looks like that may not happen.

If you can change the dates to fit with lift opening times, Meribel is good too, and cheaper than Morzine by a long way.

September your issue will be that a lot of lift systems will have closed. I am travelling alone with Trail Addiction - Dest-X in August, no problem as I will join the guided groups.

Riviera Bikes (never been but so many good reviews and very nice company owner/host who I have ridden with in the UK)
Basque MTB

Not many places have lifts open in september. Valnord/ grandvalira are open till the 15th or so and the weather was great. Drive down, live on the Valnord car park, make friends. Cheap booze in Andorra as well.

Oooo followed by the over-reaction to a light-hearted, if pointed, remark.

BINGO!!!

The other area that is open in sept is Austria. Leogang/schladming were open till the end of sept. You can camp in the car park of one of the resorts (not sure which). Lifts are expensive though.
