[Closed] Cheap cranksets on Amazon and eBay?

Still in the spirit of lockdown I am reviving a frame from the back of the garage, using bits from the spares box.
However I haven't got a chainset and was wondering what the mega cheap sets with weird names on Amazon and eBay are like?
I have seen crank arms with no BB or ring for £25. The 2nd hand market seems to be overstretched so are these a reasonable prospect for a parts bin special?

Wot, no-one ever bought a Lixada crankset?
There must be a whole department devoted to thinking up silly names for Chinese cycle stuff.

Decathalon have some reasonably priced shimano and really cheap in house ones.

Got a compatible shifter the other day for the same reason, not exactly XT quality but works.

Spa cycles touring cranks are £25 without chainrings and Deore chainset is in special on CRC for £11 so why go to China?

Sorry just looked at CRC again and that is sold out (thought I might take up that bargain) so it £27 for Alivio. Not bling but alloy arms and older version works fine on my getting to work bike.

The Decathlon set is a good price but unless you can collect it's a no-go, delivery is insane.

I've used IXF alloy cranks (fit standard Shimano 24mm BB and 104mm bcd chainrings) which have been robust but only come in 170mm arms. Were robust enough.

I bought and installed a 'Fomtor' one from Amazon. Included a BB. I have to say, its very well made and still going strong 6 months later.

I have an IXS on a DMR trailstar fitted to a turbo. It was something like £25 delivered with a bottom bracket, the chain ring has about 4mm of side to side movement as you pedal.
