Cost about a tenner, anyone used one and are they ok?

Dont really want to spend £40 on a real one to fix their sh1t brakes (knew i should have gone for shimano)

I have an eBay one and have used it for a couple of years without a problem.

I tried a cheap one it was rubbish it didn't have enough thread to screw properly into either the lever or caliper and form a good seal.

I pinched some 50ml syringes off the medic - (he reckons if you needed a shot that big of anything you're probably on the way out) I use them for all my bleeding. doesn't help your Avid issues I'm afraid.

Fine for Elixirs, but found them short for the Juicys. After about 5/6 bleeds the hoses have become slack and a bit of a PITA.

Another kit I bought on eBay also had hose leakage issues.. I'll buy the Avid kit next time, it might end up the same quality - but I'd rather risk it.
