AIUI, a SRAM NX 12S cassette will fit a Shimano type free hub. Can anyone confirm that? How did it shift with an XT mech?
NX and SX both work with Shimano HG freehubs
Can’t comment on how well they work with shimano mechs personally, but know a couple of folk who’ve had no problems using them.
I run 12 speed GX cassette and SLX mech. It's close (97%) but not quite perfect. Happy enough to wear out this cassette then swop to a SLX cassette.
Just fitted a Sunrace CSMZ90 black 11-50 12-speed onto my new hardtail. Shimano freehub, SRAM GX rear mech & shifter.
Works perfectly, cassette was £82 from Merlin.

NX 12 speed cassette with slx here, easy to set up, and absolutely peachy. Would not hesitate to get another.
